Announcements - this allows you to post news, highlights, or announcements on the front page of your site. Once the end date has passed the announcement will no longer appear. An archive of all announcements can be seen by clicking on the See All link.
Be sure you always have a beginning and end date.
On the same page is a list of all announcements. You can edit or delete from this list. If you no longer want it to appear on the see all page, you will have to delete it.
As you can see the first item has already passed so it does not appear on the front page.
